Illustrator. Fanart enthusiast. Eternal romantic.
I loved Sailor Moon since I was a teenager in the 1990s. The manga and its artbooks were a source of endless inspiration during my teenage and young adult years. I am also drawn to the romance genre illustrators of auld, which adds a sensuality to my work that is often subtly implied in Sailor Moon. Adapting the style of the passionate covers of the novels I grew up seeing around my grandmother's house to Naoko's semi-realized concept of Senshi and Shitennou, I was able to dream out a fantasy vision of these couples and their tempestuous relationships during the Silver Millennium. I’ve been posting my art online since 2008 and discovered a niche in the Senshi & Shitennou Sailor Moon community, where my romantic couple pictures found a base following.
My aesthetic may seem unusual since it is that of a fashion illustrator. Either traditional drawing or digital, my art is always hand-drawn on paper first. You can find some of my archive on InkBlot.
